The FIRST SPADET I ever helped a guy build and he actually learned to fly with this Correx Built Plane.

That was after he demolished a balsa Trainer given him by someone...

This reminds me of the SAD Society...

S - ociety of
A - ircraft
D - emolishers

:silly:

Haven't we all done that sometime or another...

This .40 sized Spadet was powered by an OS46AX ...

I want to echo the challenge...

BUILD YOURSELF ONE OF THESE CORREX MODELS SOMETIME.

Barry send me a plan of a correx SPADED few months ago, as we have no landing strip to enjoy our amazing hobby. I build a few BALSA models before, but was to scared to put month's of work to the test,(could not even fly properly). I got all the building material here in Kenya, and started building. Amazingly it took not as long as BALSA, only about 15 hours in total. This time I told myself,,,,,,,,,ITS FLY OR DIE,,,,,,,,,, I had the aileron setup completely wrong, My heart was over worked, had a safe landing, set the ailerons correct and there I go. See my video clip.

Since then I started experimenting with different designs from a 3D flyer(NOT FOR ME THANX) under wing, aluminum fuse, gutter pipe fuse ext.

Its really cheap and easy to build.
I browse the net and found so many GREAT LOOKING correx aircraft

For example..

Barry I thank you for giving me this opportunity to SUCCESSFULLY get in the air, and enjoying this incredible hobby.
If you don't have a lot of money, and you love this hobby as much as I do, start building yours today.
I'm just waiting for the winds to calm down here in Kenya, then its back in the air... ;)
